The requirement for some visa holders to register with the police or report changes to them was suspended on 4 August 2022, and has now been removed completely with effect from 9 November 2022.
New and existing visa holders no longer need to register or report changes, and individuals who failed to comply with this requirement while it was still in place are no longer at risk of criminal prosecution and/or refusal of immigration permission.
