SIT has started seeing a number of cases where AI has been used for immigration advice, where the outcome has unfortunately resulted with incorrect information being provided. To provide some examples, we recently had one individual being incorrectly advised that a particular funder was on the Global Talent endorsed funder list, and another being incorrectly advised their role was on the Skilled Worker Shortage Occupation List. Both examples resulted in disappointment for the individuals involved, which could have been avoided by instead following SIT’s advice. We are here to help you and your staff, so please can we ask you continue engaging with your SIT Immigration Advisors on these matters.
UK immigration is complex and there is a scary amount of incorrect and incomplete information online, so you should not try to research things yourself, SIT is here and happy advise and assist on immigration matters within the colleagiate University.
