On 13 November 2019 the Home Office introduced a new Priority application option for Tier 2 visa holders who are applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
The processing time for an ILR application submitted through the standard route can be up to six months. Applying using the Super Priority option (which costs an additional £800 per applicant) should result in a decision within 1-2 working days after the appointment to submit biometrics, with the new BRP being sent out within 1-2 weeks thereafter.
The new Priority option (which costs an additional £500 per applicant) should result in a decision within around 5 working days after the appointment to submit biometrics, with the new BRP being sent out within 1-2 weeks thereafter.
The new Priority option is only available to Tier 2 visa holders who are applying for ILR.
